It's Friday morning in Frankfurt, Germany. Time to stimulate the brains of all the early birds. Every two weeks, Leo's Academy satisfies the curiosity of up to 50 Burnetters with a one-hour lecture on topics such as technical innovations, marketing trends and inspiring cultural developments. It's a must to stay up to date and create work that plays in the upper leagues.

Leo’s Academy kicked off the year with Condé Nast’s Juergen Kleeberger and his lecture, "Digital or Dead: The Publishing Industry at a Crossroad.” In his presentation, he showcased the positioning of the American print and online publication Wired in Germany, talked about production methods for the Wired tablet app and discussed the challenges facing the publishing industry in the age of dying print.

The Foundry

We pride ourselves on training, nurturing and cultivating talent, and there is no better representation of this than The Foundry, where fresh-out-of-university students are granted a place in one of London’s most exciting graduate programs and given the opportunity to run their very own micro-agency. The Foundry encourages an entrepreneurial spirit by giving its recruits the freedom to seize new business opportunities and take responsibility for their very own clients. The recruits get the budget, time and resources to run their own ship, while the agency provides grounding and support from the sidelines. The team is currently pitching for its first paying client and is close to launching a rebrand. The goal this year is to solidify what The Foundry stands for, marking in the sand the distinction from the main agency and cementing how the offering can be tremendously unique, rewarding and profitable to the entire agency group.

The Leo Shop

The Leo Shop is our little global branded marketing store that has sold more than 46,000 items to date.

Haven't been? The Leo Shop is a one-stop shop for collateral material, unique takeaways for events or new business pitches, new employee welcome kits, baby gifts, employee recognition awards and much, much more.

It's obvious that our employees love to wear our branded items – we see sightings (and selfies) on a daily basis. For the rest of the world, it's a cool and unique place to shop all things Leo. The numbers don't lie.
